For almost 20 years, Opportunity Neighborhood has been providing high-quality programs and services at affordable housing communities throughout the Twin Cities. These programs and services have literally transformed these once blighted complexes into safe and stable communities where resident children and families are thriving.

Our 6-component Resident Services Program can:

• Increase resident retention thereby stabilizing families and creating better educational outcomes for children.
• Improve the safety of the community and reduce the number of crime calls.
• Provide no-cost early childhood education programs for young children and out-of-school time programming for K-8th grade youth.
• Bring neighbors together to build community and develop mutually beneficial relationships.
• Ensure families’ needs are met so they succeed.
• Collaborate with local service based organizations to avoid duplication of programs and services.
