Community events provide opportunities for residents to build positive relationships with their neighbors and foster a sense of community. Out of these relationships, amazing things can happen!
Neighbors who had never had an opportunity to meet are now getting together at weekly community building events – BINGO, craft activities and community dinners.
At first, these events might seem like nothing more than an opportunity for fun. But, given a closer look they are building social connectedness, decreasing social isolation among residents and providing much needed resources.
In fact, 88% of residents who attend community events stated the events make them feel more connected to the rental community and 36% of residents stated the amenity of onsite community events was one of the reasons they chose to live in their respectful rental community.
